Hornsea One CTV is named
The Danish company MH-O & C has named a new crew transfer vessel MHO Gurli. The 39 meter long fast supply katamaran was ordered by Ørsted for the Hornsea Project One offshore wind farm in Great Britain and is expected to be put in operation soon.
MHO Gurli is 10,3 meters wide and has a maximum draft of 1,8 meter and is able to reach a maxumum speed of 21 knots when loaded to capacity. The normal work speed is 25 knots. The vessel has a deck area of 140 square meters and room for 24 people.
The 1.2 GW Hornsea Project One offshore wind farm is located 120 kilometerof the coast of Yorkshires. Recently, the park produced its first electricity and should be fully operating by 2010.
