Danish CIP hires Bladt for Taiwan-project

Bladt Industries have partnered up with Taiwan’s Century Wind Power to deliver as many as 150 fundaments to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) three wind farm projects in Taiwan. The upcoming wind farms will have a gathered capacity of 1,5 GW.

The separate companies have reached an agreement concerning the price of the project, which covers the cost up 150 fundaments. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, which is operated by several former employees of Řrsted (Formerly known as Dong Energy), got the rights to build three wind farms in the Taiwan district back in May 2017. They will consist of MHI Vestas 9MW windmills.

"With this deal, CIP has secured local Taiwanese production capacity to produce the jacket structured foundations for their projects, combined with European know-how and experience," Bladt Industries writes in a press release concerning the deal.
