MH-O&Co in Esbjerg has won an order from Ørsted to deliver three ships for the transfer of crew to Ørsted's Hornsea Project One in the British part of the North Sea. The order includes two Stratcat 26 ships from Rix Sea Shuttle and a brand-new ship from MH-O & Co, not yet built.

"We are very pleased to have secured these contracts," says Mik Henriksen, owner and CEO in MH-O&Co and continues: "They are in line with our market focus and expertise, centered on flexible, efficient and reliable operations using capabilities within ship management and equipment selection."

MH-O&Co is building two 39-meter-long "Fast Supply Cats", located in the segment between crew transport vessels (CTV) and service-operation vessels (SOV), one of which has to work for Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy).

The newbuildings are delivered according to plan in September 2018, while the contract with Ørsted runs until the end of 2019 with the possibility of renewal.

The Hornsea Project One is 120 km off the Yorkshire coast and covers an area of 407 square kilometers. The wind turbine park will consist of 174 Siemens 7MW mills and will be the largest offshore wind farm in the world - when it's completed in 2020.
