Blue Water has assisted emergency services with supplies for thousands in the Caribbean after the hurricanes Irma and Mary. Blue Waters Emergency Aid team still works day and night with the logistical challenges of transporting tons of aids and materials.

"Together with our agents in Santo Domingo from Dominican Republic we have loaded a barge with all kinds of aids. The barge goes on a three-week trip to bring supplies to the many families in the region so they can rebuild their houses and regain their normal lives after Irma and Maria smashed everything," says Johnny Mortensen, Head of Emergency Services Department in Blue Water.

The goal is to transport emergency aid to Barbuda, Antigua, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St. Martin and the Turks and Caicos Islands, which are some of the most affected areas. Since wildlife in many places also has taken a hit, there is a high risk of disease spreading from dead animals to the local population.

Local authorities and international aid organizations do a lot to help, and Blue Water is proud to assist in the process of reconstruction.
