Imperial visit to MHI Vestas in LindÝ
Yesterday, MHI hosted the Imperial Highness, Crown Prince of Japan at the company's factory in LindÝ. The royal visit to the nacelle factory took place in connection with Denmark and Japan celebrating 150 years of diplomatic relations.
"We are very honored to host his imperial highness, the Crown Prince of Japan at our factory in LindÝ. As a Japanese and Danish joint venture, MHI Vestas is the design of the strong ties between Denmark and Japan. It is an extraordinary privilege to be part of the celebration that marks 150 years of diplomatic relations between our two countries," said Jens Tommerup, Managing Director of MHI Vestas.
During the factory visit, his imperial sovereignty the Crown Prince of Japan was received by Japanese and Danish leaders of the company. He was shown around the nacelle manufacturing area and was also in a nacelle for an up-close look at the turbine's technological components.
