Fire at Aarhus Harbor has been extinguished
The fire that occurred at Aarhuskarlshamn at Aarhus Harbor yesterday afternoon has been extinguished. It is still too early to say something about the cause of the fire. The following fire investigations will clarify this.
The East Jutland police could announce that one person was injured in connection with the fire. An employee at the company receivedsome fire damage on one hand as the fire broke out. He was takento the emergency room.
The East Jutland police evacuated and closed off the area at Sydhavnsgade, Slipvej and Celebesvej yesterday afternoon and evacuated the employees of the company. It was due to fear of heavy smoke evolution and minor explosions, as the company produces vegetable oil.
At 5.30 pm yesterday, the roads were opened again.
