Bunker One is strengthening its portfolio in the US Gulf, the Caribbean, and West Africa. The new expansions are a part of Bunker One’s strategy to increase its activities and investments around the globe.

“The current downtrend in the market is not effecting our entrepreneurial spirit, and we continue to execute on our strategy for growth looking for more business opportunities at a global scale”, says Peter Zachariassen, CEO, Bunker One.

In its US Gulf operation, the company will double its capacity on the water by deploying MT FURUHOLMEN. The new tanker will join the existing MT BARBARICA.

Moreover, Bunker One is expanding its presence in the Caribbean by the employment of MT LILLO SWAN, which is now on station in Trinidad. Also, the MT Waltz will be repositioned to the Caribbean business unit.

Building on West African expansion Earlier this year Bunker One is now adding further to its portfolio of tankers by employing the MT ENFORD, hereby operating three tankers in the region moving forward.

With 3 fully equipped and fully operational tankers in the area, Bunker One will cover the major shipping lanes supplying vessels going East-West via the Hornin addition to the traffic in and around the West African Coast. HSFO, VLSFO and MGO will be available on the full stretch of the African coast.
