DMF 2020: Sale of stands has started

14-04-2019 12:00:00

The sale of stands for the fifth edition of the international maritime fair – the Danish Maritime Fair 2020 – which takes place in Bella Center Copenhagen, May 13-14 2020, has officially kicked off. The fair takes place in Bella Center Copenhagen Hall H, which has its own entrance, a large parking area – as well bus and metro transportation straight to the door

"We are very happy and proud that Bella Center Copenhagen has chosen to embrace the Danish Maritime Fair and provide the fair with the strength and international profile that it needs", says CEO for DMF 2020, Rene Wittendorff

"Denmark is a strong maritime nation with great traditions. We deserve to have a fair that reflects our strong competences as well as our central position in the international maritime world".

The Fair saw the sale of its first stand at the end of March, where BellaCenter Copenhagen held an information meeting for key maritime stakeholders. The stand was purchased by Oresund DryDocks, a Swedish shipyard that does service work on a large number of ship every year in Landskrona.

The 2020 Fair has 162 stands and with its dynamic design it is built to adjust to any needs. The stands are sold on a first come, first served basis.

The Hall Plan operates on a 3- and 6-meters breadth which gives a compact expression that contributes to the visitor’s experience. For the first time ever at the DMF, free access will be granted to all registered visitors in order to ease the access to the fair.

In addition to the introduction of the Hall Plan for 2020, the kick-off meeting also revealed information about the planned conference- and event program, that takes place concurrently with the Danish Maritime Fair 2020. The main point of the planned conference- and event program is, that all activities will take place in Bella Center Copenhagen. Three half-day conferences have been planned so far – all of them take place in the exhibition hall itself, as well as an unspecified number of workshops and events.

Between now and May next year when the DMF 2020 takes place, the Fair will be marketed continuously in both Danish and foreign media – in articles, advertisements and by attending international fairs. The Fair will also be advertised through the Fair’s own website www.danishmaritimefair.dk, social media, direct mail and invitations.
