Royal Caribbean orders another Oasis-ship

The cruise ships of the Oasis-class are a huge success for Royal Caribbean Cruises and the shipping company has therefore sight a contract regarding a sixth ship of the kind. The cruise ship, which will be delivered in the spring of 2023, will be build at the French shipyard Chantiers de l'Atlantique.

The first cruise ship of the series, Oasis of the Sea, was build by TX Europe Turku Shipyard in Finland back in 2009. The sister ship Allure of the Seas was build the following year.

The two ships created a lot of excitement in Denmark due to the fact that they sailed under the Great Belt Fixed Link with little trouble. Watch a video of the incident beneath.

The third and fourth ship in the series was build at Chantiers de l'Atlantique which will also build the fifth ship of the series in 2021.
