Unifeeder connects Gdynia with DP London

Unifeeder has established a new route between Gdynia and DP World London Gateway, which will open on February 22. The new route is part of Unifeeders plan of delivering a competitive transport alternative to customers, as well as creating a safe door-to-door delivery of freight to the UK from the continent.

"With its association to the UK's largest logistics park and easy access to the highway and railroad connections, the DP World London Gateway is a solid logistics center. That makes it a great expansion of Unifeeder's network, ”says CEO of Unifeeder Shortsea, Timm Niebergall.

The service upgrade is a supplement to Unifeeders existing multi-gateway-setup, which combines British ports in Grangemouth, South Shields, Teesport, Immingham and Felixstowe with important continental port centers (Hamburg, Rotterdam, Dunkerque and Antwerpen) and more ports in Eastern Europe.

Recent developments in the British Parliament's vote on the Brexit deal with the EU can have a serious impact on supply chains to and from the UK. Being the largest pan-European feeder and shortsea operator, Unifeeder offers customers logistics solutions that can counteract the consequences of Brexit.
