Maersk Broker major shareholder in Naodan

Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering have entered into an agreement with dry cargo brokerage specialist Naodan Chartering, to become a major shareholder as of 1 January 2019. The trading activities will continue to be carried out under the name of Naodan Chartering.

Naodan Chartering will continue to focus on the business out of the West Coast of the USA, West Coast Canada and Alaska – and Dan Valente will continue to carry on his duties as President.

“We are confident that this new venture will increase our joint presence within the Pacific market and indeed globally. By entering the US West Coast, West Coast Canada and the Alaskan market place, Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering will be able to continue to grow our business within the dry cargo chartering market enabling us to provide an even better service to our global clients”, says Frank Kehlskov Mortensen, CEO, Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering.
