Knife drama onboard Stena-ferry

On the night to Saturday, a 30-year-old man was stabbed by knife in the stomach and legs onboard a Stena – ferry as the ferry was sailing from Frederikshavn to Gøteborg. The Swedish police was alarmed Saturday night at 01.29 o’clock. The man who did the stabbing was arrested, when the ferry anchored in Gøteborg.

“We had been informed. When the boat arrived at harbor, we were able to apprehend the perpetrator. I am not certain if when it happened nor where the boat was at the time” says Johan Josarp, head of police region vast to Aftonbladet.

The incident took place on the Stena Danica departure, which sailed from
Frederikshavn on Friday night at 22.00 pm, which arrived in Gøteborg at 01.25 pm. The guests onboard the boat were not allowed to leave the ferry before police had, with the help of witnesses, arrested the perpetrador.

The victim was conscious at the time of arrival. He was taken to the emergency, after police had a brief talk with him at the arrival in Gøteborg. It is currently unknown what led to the stabbing. The perpetrador has been charged with attemped murder.
