Cruise ship no. 100 arrives in Skagen

24-09-2018 10:00:00

Just before noon today, the cruise ship Marina from Oceania Cruises arrived at the port of Skagen for the second and last time this year. Marina is thereby the 100th cruise ship to arrive at the port since 2015, when the port opened up for the arrival of larger cruise ships.

Marina came from Warnemünde and the cruise will sail towards Oslo at 21.00 o’clock tonight. There are 1.237 passengers onboard Marina, amongst these passengers are 794 Americans, 201 Canadians, 68 Australians and 42 Mexicans.

Prior to 2015, larger cruise ships had to anchor outside the port and sail passengers onto land. The first cruise ship to arrive at the new 450-meter long cruise ship wharf was the 293 meter long cruise Brilliance of the Sea. This happened on May 27, 2015.
