Scandlines Helsingør-Helsingborg route shipped 121.000 trucks across Øresund in the second quarter of 2018, which is a 11 percent increase compared to the same quarter of last year. On the other hand, the number of passenger vehicles fell with three percent.

The shipping company has written in a press release that the decrease in number of shipped passenger vehicles compared to last year can be attributed to the fact that Easter fell on different dates this year.

The number of passenger vehicles fell from 1,94 million passengers in the second quarter of 2017, to 1,89 million in the second quarter of 2018.

The number of shipped busses also dropped from 5.800 last year to 5.400 in the second quarter of 2018.
