Maersk Broker: Very active first half of 2018

12-07-2018 12:00:00

The first half of 2018 has been very active indeed for Maersk Broker. Most of the main tonnage segments are still faced with considerable challenges, and Maersk Brokers role – and ambitions – are clearly to improve our engagement and service to the extent that they can qualify as partners and consultants.

"We have made considerable investments into both dry bulk chartering and indeed the offshore segment. With assistance from Maersk Broker Advisory Services and our growing number of very qualified research colleagues, we are on the right path", says CEO Anders Hald.

"Results are improving, and our investments will continue. The 3rd quarter has started on a high note and despite the summer season, considerable new business is in the pipeline".
