Unifeeder adds Vlisningen to their network

18-01-2018 09:00:00

Unifeeder, the containerization company in possession of the largest intra-European integrated network, has added another port to its comprehensive coverage. From February 2018, Unifeeder sails to Vlissingen twice a week and connects the Dutch port with Oslo, Helsingborg, Helsinki and Kotka in Finland.

The new route connections gives customers south of Rotterdam a reliable and cost-effective alternative to the busy port of Rotterdam. The route to Oslo and Helsingborg goes through Skagen, while the route to Finland goes through the Kiel Canal.

Unifeeder's unique business model, which combines Feeder Freight and Shortsea Freight, means that customers in both segments will benefit from these new connections, based primarily on a Shortsea requirement.
