20 of the 54 wind turbines in the Nordsee One wind farm have now been installed. It is shown in the latest press release from Galloper Wind Farm Limited, a jointventure headed by Innogy SE, which also owns Nordsee One together with Northland Power.

The first Senvion 6,2M-126 turbine in the 332 MW large wind farm in the German part of the North Sea was installed in early March. In April 2016, the installation of the turbine foundations was completed. The park's transformer station was installed last summer and the inter-array cable laying was completed in September 2016.

The wind farm is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2017. It will be able to produce more than 1,300 gigawatt hours of electrical energy sufficient to supply power to approximately 400,000 German households.
