Nominees ready for Offshore Safety Award

Oil Gas Denmark has announced the nominees for this year's Offshore Safety Award 2017. The winner will be announced at the annual security conference on April 19 in Esbjerg.

The annual Offshore Safety Award aims to support and sustain good examples of security visions and behavior.
The three nominees this year are "Tyra Øst ambassadors of 0 accidents," "The crews of ENSCO-71" and "Maersk Drilling Resolve team and DONG Oil & Gas Hejre drill team".

The Tyra-ambassadors, which is a diverse group with different backgrounds from Maersk Oil incl. subcontractors are nominated for their continuing hard work to identify many different angles to be free of accidents.

ENSCO-71 is nominated for having successfully implemented a "Hand and Finger" program that simply and effectively get people to stop and think about potential hazards before they start using their hands.

Maersk Drilling Resolve team and DONG Oil & Gas Hejre drill team is nominated for having completed drilling of five wells without loss of working hours due to accidents and no problems with the wells over 27 months.
The winners will be revealed on Oil Gas Denmark's security conference on April 19 in Esbjerg.
