TORM is looking for an ambitious Procurement Manager to join our Procurement Department in Copenhagen. The position offers an excellent opportunity for career development in a world-class shipping company operating a fleet of 80 product tanker vessels.

The Job
Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, Purchase & Logistics, the successful candidate will be an integral member of TORM’s Procurement Department. The department supports TORM’s full procurement needs meaning a varied portfolio of projects and segments are managed. The position requires that the selected person has in his/her tool box a broad and varied knowledge of procurement practices, techniques, and not least stakeholder management skills. This position allows and demands that category, contract, project­­ and analysis management are employed in equal measure.

The Procurement Department is a relatively small team for the size of spend, it is therefore imperative that the successful candidate is able to prioritise and enjoy and embrace flexibility. The upside is that you will be joining an experienced and professional team where you can truly make a difference and be noticed.

Furthermore, responsibilities include:
- Strategy and supplier development
- Negotiation fulfillment and management of contracts
- Optimise processes and procedures
- Network building and development externally and internally
- Full employment of TCO tools
- Full management of tender processes

Profile
You have a background within procurement and/or supply chain as well as a relevant theoretical background, such as M.Sc. in Business Administration. Excellent negotiation skills and a result-oriented approach are vital to fulfil both the company’s strategic ambitions and excel as a Procurement Manager. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, being able to handling several projects and tasks at once.

Furthermore, you have/are:
- A natural commercial flair and high standards for performance and quality
- A customer focused and a result-oriented approach
- Coping well under pressure and are enthusiastic
- Strong communication skills and fluent in oral and written English
- Profiles with different levels of experience, will be taken into consideration.
