As part of the government's plan "BETTER BALANCE - Government institutions closer to citizens and businesses" Nævnenes Hus will be established on January 1, 2017. Here, a wide range of state complaint boards will be brought together, including the Appeals Board for Maritime Conditions.

Secretarial services for the Appeals Board of Maritime Conditions which has been handled by the Danish Maritime Authority, will be be transferred into Nævnenes Hus.
