Flensburg Shipyard receives ferry order

FSG shipyard in Flensburg will build a new LNG powered ro-pax ferry to the French shipping company Brittany Ferries. The ferry to be delivered in 2019, will be deployed on the route between Caen in France and Portsmouth in Britain.

The ferry will have a length of 185 meters and a width of 31 meters. The tonnage is 42,000 GT and a capacity of 2,600 lane meters, 1,680 passengers and 257 cabins.

Flensburg Shipyard's order book already includes a similar ferry for Irish Ferries and two ro/ro ships for DFDS.
