VMS Group is setting up on Rømø

24-08-2016 08:00:00

VMS Group from Frederikshavn has established a new department on Rømø Harbour. The department, which has been named VMS Service Base Wadden Sea, is established in cooperation with JKP Field Services from Esbjerg and should offer service especially in propulsion systems.

"With the location on Rømø Harbour our facilities are located ideally for the Wadden Sea offshore wind farms, so we can save considerable time on CTV's and other service vessels when maintenance and repairs are required," says Christian Juel Adamsen in charge of daily operations in VMS Service Base Wadden Sea.

"Our local service technicians are the cornerstone of our service: Whether the boats are in Rømø or any other place in the Wadden Sea region, we can respond quickly and thus ensure minimum staytime. Finally, we as part of VMS Group ensure our customers a catalog of expertise and workshop facilities," he says.

VMS Group is a holding company for the five Vestergaard companies, which have now been gathered into a single corporate structure. Earlier this summer the group had came under new management in the form of Peter Krogh Nymand, who took over after the company's founder, Morten Vestergaard.
