Yesterday morning, the special vessel Happy Diamond from the Dutch shipping company Biglift was photographed as it passed through Storebælt. The company, headquartered in Amsterdam has a fleet of 15 special and heavy lift vessels.

The ships are equipped with cranes that can lift up to 1,800 tons. They are used for transport of large and heavy units, notably in the oil, gas and mining industries, as well as parts for power plants.
Under the text is a presentation video from Biglift.

The editors thank Knud Olsen for that great view of the special ship that is in the North Sea off Hvide Sande right now.
