The royal ship has begun expedition

The royal couple will visit Greenland abord the royal ship in the period from July 8-22, 2015. The program includes visits to North and West Greenland. H.M. The queen began the expedition in northern Greenland with a visit to Ittoqqortoormiit, Station Nord and Thule Air Base as well as visits to settlements in Savissivik.

This part of the visit proceeds without the royal ship Dannebrog, which will then take over. In West Greenland the royal couple will visit Upernavik, Ukkusissat, Qullissat, Saqqaq, Ilulissat, Qasigiannguit, Kitsissuarsuit, Sisimiut, Kangaamiut, Maniitsoq and Nuuk.

H.M. The queen started in northern Greenland on Wednesday, July 8 at Station Nord, where the Queen is responsible for the dedication of the research station Villum Research Station. HRH Crown Prince opened the research station in 2013.

July 12: Visit to Upernavik
July 13: Visit to Ukkusissat
July 14: Visit to Qullissat and Saqqaq
July 15: Visit to Ilulissat
July 16: Visit to Qasigiannguit and Kitsissuarsuit
July 17: Visit to Sisimiut
July 19: Visit to Kangaamiut
July 20: Visit to Maniitsoq
July 21: Visit to Nuuk (afternoon and evening)
July 22: Visit to Nuuk.
