Orskov Yard strengthens its management

Orskov Yard has appointed Lars Fischer as Sales/Technical Director. Fischer comes from a position as sales director at Wärtsilä and has previously been employed at MAN Diesel. He will rank alongside the yard's current director Christina Ørskov

"We look forward to a good and constructive cooperation with Lars Fischer in the Orskov spirit," says Christina Ørskov.

Lars Fischer, who will assume the position at Orskov Yard on 1 October will make up the future management of the yard along with Christina Ørskov.

Lars Fischer is 43 years old, a resident of Frederikshavn, a trained naval architect at Elsinore Engineering and has a solid background in the marine and offshore industry. He has worked 20 years with rotating machinery and mechanical structures with emphasis on propulsion and pump solutions include supply vessels, naval vessels, fishing vessels and oil/gas production.
