Esvagt has named the company's latest ERRV vessel (Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel), Esvagt Chastine. The ship is no. 15 in the series of C-type ERRV vessels in ESVAGT fleet, and it was built by ASL Shipyard in Singapore.

Esvagt Chastine starts on contract for Lundin Petroleum, where the ship is to be standby in case of emergency by the Edvard Grieg production platform in the Norwegian North Sea, 180 kilometers west of Stavanger. Lundin Petroleum is the operator of the oil field.

The C-type is designed and certified to operate worldwide, says Esvagt.

No. 14 in the series of the company's C-type ships were Esvagt Cornelia, which was named in December.
