Special transport through Fredericia

Special transport through Fredericia

10-09-2014 08:00:00

On September 4th and 5th, a 38 meter long tube and a 21 meter long container successfully snuck its way through Fredericias narrow streets.

Two transports were carrying several tons, when a distillation column and a circulation tank were transported on wheels through Fredericia. The starting point was at Fredericia Harbor and the final destination was DONG Energy's crude oil terminal just outside of town.

It was the supply companies Trefor and Give Sværgods, who handled the unusual and long transport. The transports were escorted by police all the way, and a lot of people showed up to witness the spectacular transport crossing the streets.

Two distillation columns have previously been transported to DONG Energy's crude oil terminal, and this was the third and final delivery of its kind.
