His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik will open the Danish Maritime Forum, which is the central event in the Danish Maritime Days on October 8. The event will be held in the Base Station, a building located in an industrial area of Copenhagen Harbor.

"We are proud and delighted with the support we get from the official Danish side," says Flemming R. Jacobs, Secretary General of the Danish Maritime Days.

"The support further highlights Denmark's position as a global maritime center," says Flemming R. Jacobs.

Danish Maritime Forum spans over two days - October 8 and 9 - the participants, who are all invited, counts international ministers, senior experts and selected top officials from the maritime world. The event consists of large joint sessions and work in small groups.

In addition to HRH Crown Prince Frederik, Business and Growth Minister Henrik Sass Larsen will also participate in the opening of the event.
