Maersk Oil signs contract with Plexus

Plexus Holdings has signed a contract with Maersk Oils Danish department to provide wellheads and mud drilling equipment, for an exploration drill in the Danish North Sea. The value of the contract is estimated at 10 million kr. The delivery is expected to start in June 2014.

According to the contract, British Plexus is to deliver its 18-3/4" POS-GRIP surface abstraction and mud system, for use on a standard pressure - exploration well. This contract gives Maersk Oil the opportunity to secure Plexus wellhead equipment for an additional wellbore.
