Clipper takes delivery of Clipper Bliss

Clipper has expanded its fleet of about 70 Handysize vessels with Clipper Bliss, the fourth in a series of six bulk carriers of 38,000 DWT which the company is to have built on the Japanese yard Imabari Shipyard.

The first ship in the series, Clipper Bari-Star, was delivered to the company in December 2011. Since then, the company has been delivered its sister vessels Clipper Bettina and Clipper Belle.
Clipper Bliss first cargo is of rice that are shipped from Sacramento and Stockton to Mersini Turkey.
