Ferries are facing ice problems

28-01-2014 08:00:00

The ice has started to pack so much in the Small-island sea in the last few days that it will have influence on the ferry service to and from several of the small islands north of Lolland. Femø Ferry is already sailing with delays of about 30 minutes.

"There's a lot of ice right now. Right now we totally pacified because of the ice, "said Malene Rydahl who is captain aboard the Femø ferry yesterday Monday to TV2/Øst.

Lolland Ferry says that the Asko ferry yesterday from 13:15 o'clock Monday has started to sail according to its ice plan. There are no details on the problems of the third of its ferry, Fejø ferry.
