Copenhagen 'Destination of the Year'

25-09-2013 16:00:00

BRIEF NEWS: Copenhagen has for the second time been named Destination of the Year. Cruise Copenhagen Network received the price of the cruise industry's largest annual event in Europe - Seatrade Europe in Hamburg on Tuesday.

"It's a great recognition. Our budgets cannot measure up to our international competitors, but it can be our ability to cooperate, and it is fantastic, "says Bo Nylandsted Larsen, director of Cruise Copenhagen Network, the Internet portal Stand By.

The Caribbean is the world's most sought-after area for cruises, followed by the Mediterranean and Northern Europe in third place with approx. ten percent of the market.
