Insertion of new ferry delayed

22-05-2013 12:00:00

The new ferry between Rudkobing and Strynø in Denmark, which is being built at Hvide Sande Ship and Boat Yard, was planned for delivery on 17 June. But when the staff practiced the sailing of the new ferry, it showed that they will have to wait with the deployment for mid-July.

The ferry, which will be called Strynø, is replacing the longstanding ferry RTEM Strynboen.

It also been decided that the ferry shall have new equipment for ticket sales. It will be set up in the autumn.
