IJmuiden-Newcastle breaks record

IJmuiden-Newcastle breaks record

25-03-2013 10:00:00

100,000 passengers have booked themselves in on DFDS Seaway’s IJmuiden-Newcastle route in the first quarter of this year through UK, German and IJmuiden offices. This is a new record.

“This is a real milestone that we have never achieved before. Last year around this time, we had six percent fewer bookings compared to the same quarter this year. It is very encouraging to see that, even in the current economic climate, we can achieve such a significant increase”, says Teun Wim Leene, Country Manager in IJmuiden.
